Table 1 presents regional population by sex and place of residence (urban/rural). Table 2a and Table 2b contain regional population by single age and by age group. Table 3 shows the population of regions, zones and Weredas by urban and rural areas. The total number of households in the conventional households and average household size by region are given in Table 4. Distribution of ethnic groups (nations and nationalities) and religious composition by region are provided in Table 5 and Table 6 respectively. It is important to note that the census results for Afar and Somali Regions in all the tables refer to the counted population as of November 2007. For the rest of the regions, the results refer to counted population as of May 2007.
